How to Work with a Virtual Assistant
Like with everything, it does not suffice to hire a VA. You need to know how to make the most of your time with your VA. To optimize your VA’s time:
- Prioritize communication
The key to every relationship, frequent communication paves the way for the easy suggestion of time-saving options.
- Use the right tools and share your records.
- Establish a rapport
Like with the more traditional form of employment, working in a friendly atmosphere goes a long way to boost productivity and quality, as well as to minimize turnover. Establishing a rapport with your VA gets them to be more invested in the outcome of your tasks.
- Provide clear and concise instructions, and share your expectations.
Although it is not always the case, often, errors in the completion of tasks are a product of unclear instructions.
- Show appreciation
Let your VA know when they have done an excellent job, be it through tips or reviews.
YourAdmin

My VA has been great – consistent, and professional and went above and beyond my expectations, saving me on some pressing deadlines. It was an extraordinary experience, and I was able to breathe.
